OMG I just had your Ice Cream for the first time and I have to say I AM HOOKED...THE BEST ICE CREAM I EVER HAD. Most Ice cream is so sweet it leaves my throat with a tickle and makes me cough yours is SMOOTH and YUMMY and I (how bad is this) can eat the whole thing. WOW I stumbled on a yummy thing here, THANK YOU! My Boss' friend is from peru and she was over there the other night and said we all (here in the office had to try it) so she went to Draeger's Los Altos to pick some up... mmmmm changed my whole work on Ice Cream... I am HOOKED!!!

I told a lady that you were Peruvian, she said she was too. She tried the Passion fruit and was nearly in tears because she hadn’t tasted that flavor since she was young and in Peru. I just got back from 20 days in Italy, and about as many servings of gelato and sorbetto. I kept remarking that of all those, only one matched the taste of Ciao Bella. And now I find your Citron Morado sorbetto, which is at *least* as good! Wow! Ok, I finally tasted the famous LUCUMA Ice Cream and I was delighted. A velvety maple and dulce de leche like flavor, but it's the nature of the fruit to taste like that. Really amazing and I definitely recommend it...one of my favorites now!! ! -Jeff H

I found Rumba's ice cream at Milk Pail Market in Mountain View, and the three flavors I tried -- passion fruit, lucuma, and chirimoya -- were among the best flavors of store-bought ice cream I've ever had. What astounds me further is that they have 75% less sugar than just about every other brand (yes, I'm one of those label-readers). I had the privilege of trying Rumba ice cream when presenting at West Valley College. Laly, the owner of the company, brought some of her flavors in for the sampling. It was some of the best ice cream I have ever tried!! My favorite flavor was the egg-free Eggnog Ice Cream, and I also really like the Lucuma, Passion Fruit, and Cherimoya (a pina colada-ish taste).
